Not what you would expect as a core value in a writer. But consider this: Compassionate people accept others, listen to their stories, and seek to understand. As a compassionate writer, I also give voice to the story.

Compassionate writers strive to understand who they are writing for. We want to know more. Maybe, we need to know more. Writing, for us, isn’t superficial words on a page. They are deliberate, specific, chosen words that fit with your story - the story of your service, your product, your testimony. Words that reflect the benefits to your customers or donors.
By the nature of who they are, compassionate writers share in your journey, your plight. We share in the understanding of your specific sector or industry. Through our compassion, we seek to understand and relate in some way, making every job a personal matter for us.
In a business context, compassion means balancing the creative with the strategic. It means balancing the strengths of the medium with the needs of the business.
“Compassion is the basis of morality.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer
